The Corner Taqueria: A Festive Destination for Authentic Mexican Cuisine

Fun, Mexican Taqueria in downtown Smyrna Georgia. The salsa is homemade ( if you like green salsa, you can have it on request) and all of the tacos are gourmet. Come for the expertly crafted tacos, salads, and bowls. Make sure you get a cup of soup and some of their grilled elote corn. Mrs. A says the Margaritas are TD4 (to die for) There’s a limited seating out front where you can watch the activity in town and bring your pup. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is inviting and the food exceptional. Highly recommended.

We were looking to try some new food in Smyrna and stumbled upon The Corner taqueria and I am so glad we did. I built my own burrito and I dont want to give myself too much credit but it was incredible. My protein was buffalo fried chicken, I know not you typical burrito but don't knock it before you try it. Their chicken was crunchy and packed with flavor and helped make this one of my favorite burritos that I've ever had. And the cherry on top was the tomatillo sauce on the side. Drizzling it on as I ate the burrito was the right move and the flavor was just shy on perfection.

Wow! First time here and it was amazing! The salsa and guacamole is so fresh and delicious. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Hubby had the grilled mahi and a pork taco. He loved them. I had Alambre and it was cooked perfectly. The steak was very tender. Very wonderful experience. We’ll be back for sure!

Walked in on a Friday about 10 minutes after opening. Sat at the bar and was immediately handed both a food and drink menu. Moments later chips and salsa. Excellent, light chips and the salsa comes served in a jelly style jar. I ordered one Blackened Mahi taco and one Shrimp both were fantastic! Seasoned perfectly with tasty garnish. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try you won't be disappointed.

When I went it was very welcoming. The bartender Mel was very helpful. I told her it was my first time there and she lit up with delight walking me through the menu and helping me to decide what I should get. I opted to get three Tacos: Calamari, Breakfast, and Fried Mahi-mahi. All great. My favorite was the Calamari. The most interesting was watching the people that came in. There were a lot of regulars and the staff were very welcoming. Will definitely come back to try the whole menu a few tacos at a time.

This restaurant is positioned with a direct view of a water feature which is nice when you're sitting outside. There is a wraparound porch that you can sit at with covered seating, there are tables out front with umbrellas, or you can dine inside. It's not a big place, but it felt comfortable and casual. There's only 1 bathroom stall so don't wait until the last minute lol. They offer drink specials and mocktails. It's dog friendly if you are dining outside. The food was simple and straight forward. Our server Alexis had great energy and took good care of us.

I found them on Doordash and I have no complaints, at all. 3rd time ordering from them. Good quality food and good pricing. But lemme tell you, the churros and caramel dip is what made me pick up my phone and right a review. lol I was craving something sweet. It’s perfection!

This place means so much to my wife and I— are there cooler places to eat in metro ATL? Yes. Are there places with better food in metro ATL? Yes. Are there places where you can get better bang for your buck in metro ATL? Yes. Nevertheless, we find ourselves here every single Thursday without fail. The food is good, the margs are amazingly consistent (and they have great weekly deals), and we ALWAYS sit outside where the atmosphere is pleasant, every day of the week. Never too many people around, never too few. Most of all, the staff is incredible— always attentive, always hospitable. For these reasons, this place will always have a place in our heart. I highly recommend making this place your second home, your weekly spot.
